REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION

DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SCIENCE

Minimum of Five (5) O-Level credit (and above) in WAEC or NECO which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics and any other two subjects in Sciences and/or Social Sciences in not more than two Sittings.

DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING

Minimum of Five (5) O-Level credit (and above) in WAEC or NECO which must include Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry and any other one subject in Sciences and/or Social Sciences in not more than two Sittings.

Please note that the duration of the course for both program is Two (2) Years. Tuition fees for each of the Programmes is Fifty One Thousand Naira (₦51,000) only per session.

The deadline for the filling and submission of forms is April 16th, 2021.

General Entry Requirement for Igbinedion University Post UTME

1. In order to be qualified for admission into the four-year courses and five or six-year professional programmes, candidates must have a minimum of five credits at the GCE/WAEC, SSCE/NECO, or SSCE/NABTEB certificate examinations, of which English Language and Mathematics must be included and in not more than two sittings.
In addition, candidates applying for Law must have at least a credit pass in Literature in English. Candidates awaiting GCE/NECO SSCE/WAEC SSCE/NABTEB results are also advised to apply so long the results would be available by September when the new session commences.

2. Candidates may also applying for admission into the 200 level of the degree programmes with the following qualifications:
    i. Pass in at least two subjects at Advanced level and an additional subject at the subsidiary level in the General Certificate of Education Examination. The subjects must make up a suitable preliminary to the intended courses.
   
    ii. Diploma/NCE at credit level pass and above in the appropriate subjects from a recognized institution.
    
    iii. IJMB in the appropriate subjects.
   
    iv.  First Degree in relevant discipline.
   
     v.  Above all, candidates must also satisfy the requirements for matriculation: five credit passes at the GCE/WAEC SSCE/NECO SSCE/NABTEB Certificate examinations.

UTME Requirement: Applicants are expected to sit for UTME and obtain the prescribed cut-off marks. This is a major requirement for entry into Nigerian universities.

Age: Candidates who have exceeded 22 years of age are not eligible for admission. Such candidates may be admitted under exceptional circumstances.

To pay for the Application, click on “Add online payment ticket” at the bottom of the page, then click on “Pay with…” Interswitch or Etransact on the top left corner of the page, follow the instruction to pay the application fee with a valid ATM-Enabled Card from any Commercial Bank in Nigeria to Pay with Interswitch or print out the payment ticket and proceed to the bank of choice to pay with Etransact.

8. Preview and confirm your information before submitting your application online.

The Board of Delta State University (DELSU) has opened applications to eligible candidates for admission into its postgraduate programmes (Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Masters, Academic Masters and Doctor of Philosophy Degrees) for the 2020/2021 academic session.

How to Apply for DELSU Postgraduate Admission

Candidates are expected to visit https://portal.delsu.edu.ng/ and complete the Delta State University, Abraka 2020/2021 PG Admission Form online and to also generate an application virtual pin of N31.000.00 (thirty-one thousand naira) only. Candidates should make their payment at any of the following designated banks:

The Closing date for the sale of DELSU postgraduate forms as mentioned earlier will be 31st March 2021.

General Requirements for DELSU Postgraduate Admission Form

1. Candidates applying for postgraduate studies must have a degree or something equivalent to it from a Senate- recognized institution. They must have also obtained at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics in WASC, NECO, GCE (Ordinary Level), or NABTEB in not more than two sittings. Pass in English or Mathematics will not be accepted. NCE and TC II will not be accepted as well. (No equivalent to WASC, NECO, GCE or NABTEB). Please take note that there will be no waiver for anybody seeking admission into any of the programmes.

2. A candidate applying for PhD in any programme must have obtained at least a weighted average score of 60% overall.

3. Candidates applying for academic Master Degree (M.Sc., M.Ed., M.A. and LL.M.)must first be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from the Delta State University or any other accredited university with at least “Second Class Honours (Lower Division) degree recognized by Senate

4. Candidates applying for professional Master Degree must be in possession of a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from Delta State University, Abraka or any other accredited university with at least a Second Class Honours (Lower Division) degree recognized by Senate or a Higher National Diploma with Upper Credit from a Senate-recognized polytechnic.

5. Candidates for Postgraduate Diploma must be in possession of a bachelor’s degree in the relevant discipline from the Delta State University or any other accredited university with at least a “Third Class Honours” degree or a HND (Lower Credit) recognized by Senate.
